Background
In 2010, Donna devised,
delivered and produced SOCIAL
IMPACT, a pilot program for Impact Support Services, with thanks to Lord
Mayor’s Charitable Trust. A true success in every sense of the word, it filled a
need for those often living isolated from the general social world.
It also highlighted to Donna,
that pure social is
often not enough.
- Safe
social opportunities
need to remain innovative and
fresh
- The
integration of creative learning adds
to the experience
- Sharing
a journey can
assist people to relax and chat
- Focus
on various, often neglected needs, e.g. healthy
lifestyle and fitness is
lacking in our society. If
I feel unfit, overweight, not ‘good enough’, my lack of
confidence can overtake any positive prospects; even
Prince Charming may not be recognised!
Hence AFTER HOURS
With the help of many friends,
- Donna embarks
on a new project without any funding at this stage
- Lots
of experience, determination and persistence though!
